Acceptable use policy

Two things live here: the rules for using our website and free tools, and the work we will not take on. The second half matters more, because an agency that refuses nothing will eventually do something that costs you a manual action.

01

Using this website and our tools

Our tools are free, need no signup, and run in your browser. Use them for client work, commercially, as often as you like. No attribution required.

What you may not do: resell them as your own product, scrape the site to rebuild them elsewhere, attempt to break or overload anything, or use them to process material you do not have the right to process.

02

Tactics we will not use

This is not a philosophical position. Every item here carries a real risk of a manual action or an algorithmic penalty landing on a client site, and that risk outlives the engagement.

  • Private blog networks, link farms, or any bulk link scheme.
  • Buying links that pass ranking signals without disclosure.
  • Cloaking, doorway pages, or serving different content to crawlers than to people.
  • Hidden text, keyword stuffing, or generated content published without human editing and fact-checking.
  • Fake reviews, review gating, or incentivised reviews on any platform.
  • Negative SEO against a competitor, under any framing.
  • Scraping a competitor’s content and republishing it with substitutions.

If a prospective client asks for any of this, we decline the engagement rather than negotiate it down.

03

Work we decline

We turn down sectors where the marketing itself does the harm, regardless of budget: illegal services, essay mills and academic fraud, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, predatory lending, and anything designed to mislead a vulnerable buyer.

We also decline engagements where the honest diagnosis is that search is not the bottleneck. We would rather say so in the first call than bill a retainer against a problem SEO cannot fix.

04

Client obligations

You confirm that content and materials you give us are yours to use, that any claims in them are substantiated, and that your site complies with the law in the markets you sell into.

You agree not to ask us to implement anything in the prohibited list above through a third party while we are engaged, because the penalty risk lands on the same domain we are working on.

05

Conflicts of interest

We will tell you if we already work with a direct competitor in your primary market before an engagement starts. Where the overlap is material we decline one of the two rather than run both quietly.

Confidentiality between clients is absolute. Nothing learned in one engagement is used to inform another.

06

Enforcement

We may suspend or end an engagement immediately where this policy is breached, and where the breach creates legal or reputational risk we may do so without a cure period.

For website and tool misuse we may block access. We report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

Reporting misuse

If you believe someone is misusing our tools, or you have been approached by anyone claiming to represent Billion Game in a way that contradicts this policy, tell us.
